Peak tablets in Eastern Europe

The number of tablet owners in Central and Eastern Europe, according to eMarketer estimates, will reach almost 80 million this year.

According to the eMarketer “fresh” study on global tablet use, there will soon be 76.8 million people in Central and Eastern Europe who use mobile devices at least once a month. These are those who are the direct owners of the tablets, and those who take them from friends or relatives.



The largest concentration of tablet users is in Russia - 32 million people this year will use the tablets monthly. Turkey, the next largest tablet user market, is half the size of Russian.
