Renova-Media plans to start creating a multiservice broadband network in St. Petersburg covering 1.5 million subscribers. According to
Kommersant , the company most likely will not buy the power of local players, but will build the infrastructure on its own. It’s cheaper because the regional operators today are heavily overvalued, says Renova-Media President Yury Pripachkin.
The company does not report on the volume of its investments in the St. Petersburg project, but it is known that their total volume in the telecommunications sector will be about $ 300 million this year.
