How to build a team that will not let you down and help you develop your business from scratch. My own experience.
1. Passion')
Yes, you must have a passion for your business.
After all, when a team encounters real problems, and without it there is not a single startup, only it will save you and your business. It is the passion that will unite the team and allow them to achieve their goals, bypassing obstacles and learning from mistakes.
Any new launch has a high probability of failure, and without passion, as a unifying force, the chances of failure are even higher.
Your personal passion for business will attract co-founders, potential customers and investors.
For example, several years ago I discovered that the city portal is a very profitable niche for business. But in the way of young teams who want to do this business there are a lot of obstacles, such as the costly costs of developing and maintaining a working portal, building a sales department, and staff training. My personal interest in improving the industry and led to the creation of our franchise - Gorodor.
If you are not experiencing a rush of heat when you think about a project, this is not for you, better do something else or arrange for a hire job.
2. Build a successful business alone is really difficultFind at least one co-founder. I learned from my own experience how this can alleviate suffering on the way to the goal and will make me feel more confident. Moreover, one person can hardly have all the skills and competencies to develop a team from scratch. Look for a friend, a friend who will complement your gaps in knowledge.
Take the time now to find such a person and build a relationship of trust with him.
Entrepreneurship is emotionally (and sometimes physically) tedious business, so you will definitely need support. I found that the optimal project management team consists of two or three people. After you collect the “backbone”, find specialists and consultants who will help fill in the blanks.
3. Look for missing qualities in your team members and complement them.Carefully study the topic you want to deal with.
Take time and critically analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your team. Think about how to remedy the situation, it may be worth getting trained or hiring additional specialists. It is better to do this before starting the project, even at the planning stage.
