International IT-distributor
Ingram Micro recently bought several Russian IT-companies. Now the
HNA Group , or rather its subsidiary Tianjin Tianhai, buys back Ingram Micro.
The total amount of the transaction will reach $ 6 billion, and for each share the Chinese company will pay $ 38.9. This is 39% higher than the value of Ingram Micro securities at the market close on February 17. The transaction has already been approved by the boards of directors on both sides. They expect that the transaction will be closed in the second half of 2016.
In 2014, Ingram Micro earned $ 46.48 billion and received $ 266.7 million in net profit. The company employs about 27,000 people, it has 122 distribution centers and customers in 160 countries of the world.

Buying a distributor will make it easier for HNA to work in the international market, Vedomosti reports, citing the distributor's message.
Chinese holding HNA Group is engaged in aviation, tourism and construction. Founded in 2000, the HNA Group is the largest Chinese aviation conglomerate headquartered in Haikou, Hainan.
Ingram Micro sells electronics manufacturers such as

Hewlett-Packard ,
Samsung .
The Russian IT-distributor of
RRC Group recently left Eastern Europe - the company abandoned units in Poland, Hungary, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Albania. All these units in February 2016
bought Ingram Micro. According to Sergey Libin, an analyst with Raiffeisenbank, the amount of the transaction could be about $ 50 million.
Ingram Micro this deal will strengthen its position in Eastern Europe. According to preliminary estimates, the acquisition of RRC Group will bring about $ 250 million of additional revenue in the coming year.
In December, Ingram Micro
acquired a
Parallels division called
Odin , which develops solutions for data storage and processing centers, hosting providers and telecommunications companies. As representatives of Ingram Micro reported, the amount of the transaction exceeded $ 100 million.
In 2014, Ingram Micro became a minority shareholder in a Russian company. As a result of this transaction, Parallels discovered new markets and new partners from 170 countries, and the overseas distributor was able to use the solutions created by the Russian developer to improve their virtual store.
In accordance with the terms of the transaction, the Odin Service Automation platform, as well as all rights to the Odin trademark and intellectual property, shall become the property of Ingram Micro. Next, Odin will be integrated into the existing Ingram Micro Cloud division.
Recall that Odin
was allocated in a separate unit in March 2015.
