
Google appealed to the Moscow Arbitration Court with a request to consider in closed session the company's claim against the Federal Antimonopoly Service, moreover, Google does not agree with the presence of Yandex as a third party. The company explains this petition by the fact that a large amount of information that is a commercial secret will be disclosed at the hearings.
A representative of the corporation of Good commented on it as follows: “Google would not like legally relevant information, in particular, the content of contracts with the company's counterparties, and commercial secrets to be made public and competitors.”
In this lawsuit, which Google filed with the Moscow Arbitration Court on December 10, 2015, the company demands that the FAS decision of October 2015 in the case of Yandex v. Google be declared illegal. Then the FAS recognized that Google violates the law of competition. Initially, the case was initiated on the application of "Yandex" on February 20, 2015, accusing Google of restricting competition and the targeted obstruction of user access to software of other developers.

At the moment, the Google petition remains open, and the court adjourns the preliminary hearing to February 5, along with the decision to have Yandex as a third party in the trial. Representatives of Yandex claim that the company wants to participate in the consideration of the case: “Yandex was the only applicant in the FAS case, and the evidence and numerous explanations provided by Yandex concerned all the material circumstances of the case and were investigated in detail during the proceedings. Of course, we want to participate in the consideration of the case related to challenging the FAS decision, and defend our interests, state our arguments and objections, give explanations regarding the evidence provided, confirming Google’s illegal actions that violated our rights and interests. ”
