Django 1.0 alpha
Only just four days ago, the long-awaited newforms-admin branch was added to the trunk (which seems to have made the relevant chapter in The Django Book irrelevant), we did not even have time to adapt all our projects to NFA, as ... another news.
From the fact that NFA is now on the trunk, it follows that the bulk code that we use with oldforms is no longer with us (with the exception of django.contrib.comments); which means that newforms, as planned for a long time, can be renamed simply in forms, ... and release the alpha version of the long-awaited release 1.0 !
On August 5th, we are waiting for the first beta, on August 19th - the first RC, and on September 2nd - the release.
