Airbnb pushed Google to the top of the ranking of the best companies to work

One of the most famous American labor market websites, Glassdoor has published an annual ranking of the top 50 companies for employees. According to Kommersant, Airbnb startup took first place in it, despite the fact that it participates in the rating for the first time.

The Glassdoor service publishes a similar list for the second time. In last year’s ranking, Google was recognized as the best place to work, but this year it gave a palm to the still young Airbnb startup, which has firmly established itself, giving up several places to other companies at the same time - in the current list “good corporation” ranks eighth. Remarkably, the Airbnb hospitality service was for the first time ever among the rating participants.

The top ten also included such large international companies as Facebook and LinkedIn, which ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. In addition, in the published list you can see the names of such famous IT companies as Apple (25th place), Adobe (19th position), Twitter (26th line). In the last ten rankings are well-known international companies Red Bull and Nike, taking 46 and 47 places respectively.

In compiling the rating, companies with more than 1,000 employees from the USA, Canada, as well as some of the leading European countries are considered: Germany, France and the UK. As in the past year, the list was created on the basis of anonymously provided data from employees of various companies who share their impressions of their work, evaluate not only the social package, the bonus system and salary height, but also the atmosphere in which they have to work - in particular, the adequacy of leadership and team cohesion.
