Ten days ago I wrote a
small article on Habr
, in which I shared the experience of creating and promoting a small online store . I wrote, first of all, in the hope of finding like-minded people and colleagues, as well as get useful criticism so that the next project could be even more successful and better!
Undoubtedly, the contact was found - personal correspondence with many smart people began, and interesting offers of cooperation were received. This is very cool, but all the same, in the future before I share with society the experience and ideas on Habré - I will think it over three times.
The overwhelming majority of comments were from the series “in Russia this is not a ride,” if, until recently, I did not agree with them, today, perhaps, I agree. Although I believe that neither the country nor the post here play absolutely no role. On the contrary, everything is almost as good as in most other countries. I believe that the main gag and stopper are people who want, parasitizing on someone else's success, to fill their belly.
There is no need to go far for an example (and this is not an isolated case). Someone Alexander Kovalenko (I would not be surprised if this is a Habr user) without thinking twice pumped out my entire site and made an exact replica of it under a slightly different domain name. Prices, of course, set lower. Then I bought ads in Google for the main keywords and silently began to make orders. In this case, a) he does not have a product and cannot be b) did not leave his contact details and does not respond to requests for support. It is especially insulting that I couldn’t even copy the site qualitatively, for comparison, the original and the clone:

Apparently having
earned a couple of thousands of euros, he stole the shop, and then I would have to dissuade his customers that they did not order the goods from me. Well, God bless them, I will refund them all their purchases at my own expense. Just a blow to the image will be difficult to fix. In numbers, it looks like my turnover decreased in a couple of days in two.
I do not understand how this can be done at all? Tell me, is it generally normal to be disappointed after publishing on Habré?
PS Today, the 25th of May, the clone is closed. Americans work well.
