BCG has presented a rating of 50 innovative companies in the world.

The ranking of the 50 most innovative companies from around the world this year was presented by the leading international consulting company The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which has been annually compiling such a list since 2004. According to Kommersant, the lion’s share of firms listed in the 2015 rankings come from the US - 29 candidates, 11 - companies from Europe. Asia, with 10 candidates, lags behind the Old World quite a bit.

Traditionally, Apple and Google occupy the first and second places, respectively. By the way, the apple giant has been a leader among the most innovative companies for a decade, and the “corporation of good” has always taken the second place in this rating since 2006. This time Tesla of mister Ilona Mask has appeared on the third position (last year it was the seventh). The fourth place was given to the notorious Microsoft, and the fifth - to the South Korean giant Samsung. Oddly enough, but only five of the top ten companies operate in the high-tech sector. Of the 11 European companies in the ranking, 7 are in Germany. These are the titans of the automotive industry BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen, the pharmaceutical company Bayer, the chemical concern BASF, the insurance company Allianz and the concern Siemens. Of the remaining Old World firms, two are from France (insurance company AXA and Renault), the British telecommunications company BT Group and the Swiss pharmaceutical company Roche.

To compile the rating, The Boston Consulting Group annually performs a survey of more than 1.5 thousand top managers, whose specialization is connected with innovations in various industries. These are specialists from different countries. It is pleasant to note that among them this year there were 42 people from Russia.

Of the Chinese companies are Tencent, Huawei and Lenovo. Also in the ranking was noted the largest South Korean corporation Samsung and Tata Motors from India.
