For advertising brandy brand Robert Rodriguez and John Malkovich shot a movie that can be watched in 100 years

As part of the marketing company of the super-elite brand Louis XIII Cognac, under which cognac is produced with a hundred-year exposure, Hollywood director Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Till Dawn, Sin City) made a film called 100 Years. The leading role in the film was performed by famous American actor John Malkovich (“Being John Malkovich”), a company which was made up by an actress of Asian origin Shuya Cheng.

The date of the premiere of the film, which is to be held on Monday, November 18, 2115, has already been set. To prevent this event from escaping the attention of future viewers, the company has already sent specially prepared metal tickets for the 1000 pre-selected people to the event, which their descendants will be able to attend. Until this time, the film will be stored in a repository protected from external access in the house of Louis XIII in France. The opening of the repository is scheduled using a timer. The film itself will be stored on film, so a special projector will be required for its demonstration.

Making a picture of the film is now quite difficult, despite the fact that there are three of his official teaser. In fact, he plays only a supporting role and only shows “what the future may be” after a century and they don’t say anything concrete about the film itself.

According to John Malkovich, in a hundred years it will be possible to observe three possible options for the future. The first one is a high-tech computerized world. The second option is a half-destroyed civilization as a result of a Chernobyl-like catastrophe. The third is a return to retro-futurism, the way people imagined the future in the western world in the 1940s and 1950s (retro-futurism aesthetics are exploited in the Fallout series of computer games). Each of these possible outcomes of human history is represented by a separate trailer:
