Nokia announced in April its plans to buy the French-American Alcatel-Lucent for 15.6 billion euros - this is one of the largest deals in the telecommunications industry recently. On October 21, 2015, the company received approval from the Ministry of Economy of France - the last regulator, whose consent is necessary for the official purchase offer.
In April 2015, the Finnish manufacturer of telecommunications equipment Nokia signed a contract of intent to buy the French-American Alcatel-Lucent. The deal involves antitrust authorities and trade commissions of four countries or above national entities - the United States as the largest market, the European Union is the second largest, co-production will be organized in the People's Republic of China, and the French authorities must approve the deal, legal field. government of China approved the deal , and on October 21, the last necessary regulator: the French Ministry of Economy.
Nokia has said in a
press release that it has received all the necessary approvals from the regulatory authorities.
