Yahoo has entered into an agreement with
Google . Now Yahoo will use its search and advertising. This became known on October 19. At the disposal of Yahoo will be the search tools for web pages and images, an advertising tool for AdSense for search. AdSense for search is a free product that allows you to embed Custom Search Engine on your site. As a result, visitors will be able to search the site for the necessary data, and resource owners will be able to receive revenue from the display of relevant ads on the results pages.
The changes will affect Yahoo's search operation on PCs and mobile platforms. The agreement is valid in the United States, Canada, Asia and Latin America. EU regulators are negatively attributed to Google, so in Europe, Yahoo does not cooperate with this search engine.
Google will pay Yahoo a percentage of revenue from adsense ad impressions. Yahoo, in turn, will pay for the use of web page and image search tools.

Yahoo has another
deal - this time with Microsoft. It involved the transfer of all Yahoo traffic to the Bing search engine. However, the new head of Yahoo, Marissa Mayer (ex-Google employee), “knocked out” Microsoft’s rights to 49% of the traffic. For now, Bing has 51%.
These 49% will be transferred to Google, which is to be expected in this situation.
Earlier, Maier criticized the Bing contract for not bringing as much money as he could,
writes Roem.ru. "We need better monetization, because we see from the example of competing companies what a good monetization can be."
Yahoo's revenue drops at least five years in a row. Yesterday, Yahoo presented its third quarter financial results.
The company's net profit was $ 76 million compared with $ 6.77 billion a year earlier. With the exception of some items, the profit turned out to be 15 cents per share, which did not reach the market expectations of 17 cents. Revenues in the reporting period increased by 6.8% and reached $ 1,226 billion. Analysts predicted $ 1.256 billion.
Today, Yahoo’s position in the US search market is noticeably strengthening. A year ago, Google accounted for 67.3% and Yahoo for 10%. Now Yahoo occupies 12.6% of the US search market. The growth of the position of the search corporation contributed to the
deal with Mozilla. Under the terms of the agreement between the companies, Yahoo is the default search in the Firefox browser.
The contract with Google was signed until 2018. However, while the deal is waiting for approval by the US Department of Justice.
