The company Deutsche Telekom, which is the controlling shareholder of the American telecommunications giant T-Mobile, plans to file a complaint with Google with the European Commission, reports Nytimes. This is not the first time Deutsche Telekom has filed a complaint with Google - the company has previously complained about how Google works with its search service.

Now Deutsche Telekom plans to initiate a review on the mobile operating system from Google. More specifically, the ways in which the Corporation for Good will promote products like Google Maps and other Google applications will be considered. According to Deutsche Telekom, Google is abusing its capabilities, possibly violating the antitrust laws of European countries.

According to the Gartner analytical agency, Android is now working on more than 80% of the total number of mobile devices in the world. Accordingly, Google has significant advantages over its competitors, allowing it to promote its services throughout the world. Other companies filed complaints with the corporation, including Oracle, Nokia and Aptoide.

As for Russia, here Google has already been convicted of violating antitrust laws. Thus, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia demanded that Google eliminate the violation of the Law on Protection of Competition until November 18. This requirement concerns the abuse of a dominant position in the market for pre-installed Android app stores. According to the requirement of the regulator, the terms of cooperation with manufacturers of mobile devices must be changed - the obligations of partners to install third-party applications must be removed from the contract.
