According to the head of Tesla Motors, Ilona Mask, Apple engineers are going to work on a new type of electric vehicle, who were dismissed from Tesla. Thus, says Musk, Apple will not be able to create an electric car that can compete with Tesla electric cars. The entrepreneur expressed this opinion in an interview with Handelsblatt.

“This company is recruiting people laid off by us. Sometimes, jokingly, we call Appple a “Tesla cemetery”. If a person fails to work with us, he goes to Apple, ”the businessman commented on the situation. Musk also added that he was not worried about competitors.

Now Apple is working on its own electric car, and a large team of about a thousand people is working on the project. In addition to Apple, electric cars are already under development or are being developed by companies such as Volvo, Nissan, Toyota, Audi and others.
