Over the past two weeks, a large number of interesting personnel changes have occurred in the Russian IT sector, reflecting current trends in the market and in major companies.
On top of the “carnival of departures and appointments”, it
became known yesterday, and today the news that Jack Dorsey is returning to the post of Twitter CEO has officially confirmed, while remaining CEO, that is, the CEO of another prominent startup Square.
Recall, Jack Dorsey - co-founder of Twitter. He was the first CEO, leaving his post in 2008. In 2011, he returned to the position of “internal” (interim) CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. Mr. Dorsey did not fail to take advantage of the position immediately and announced the appointment of a new operating (COO) director for Twitter.

What happened in the Russian personnel market for a fortnight is under the cut.
Nikolai Shuklin was fired from the position of marketing director at Aviasales (with a negative recommendation from Kalinov, as
reported by Roem).
Anatoly Orlov, one of the veteran of “Yandex” with more than 10 years of experience, engaged in the development and improvement of search, left the company without current plans for further employment.
Leonid Filatov, the founder of Masterhost and the creator of Openstat, got a job at Sputnik search engine as director of the Analytical Services and Statistics Department, which he reported on in his Facebook account.
Two specialists came to Rambler & Co:
- The product manager of Yandex geo-information services Nikolay Meshcheryakov, who launched Yandex.Parking, got a job as product manager at Rambler.Real estate.
- Another expert from Yandex, Alexander Logachev, who developed Yandex.Kryptu, was appointed director of the development of classroom and advertising technologies.
And one more person left “Yandex” - this is the former head of the Yandex.Reference Data Production Service, Leonid Kuligin, who is moving to work in a large Russian bank to work with Big Data and analytics.
Another person who left the place of a long stay and even more - the company, in the creation of which she was directly involved, is Anna Shkirina, already a former CEO, but still the co-founder of the Delivery Club after six and a half years of career. In 2014, the company was sold to the international Foodpanda, which, from October 1, appointed a new CEO, Ralph Wenzel.
And finally, no longer parting, and vice versa.
Kirill Semenikhin, former director of Microsoft regional sales in Russia, became director of Innopolis University.
