This requirement concerns the abuse of a dominant position in the market for pre-installed Android app stores. According to the
requirement of the regulator , the terms of cooperation with mobile device manufacturers must be changed - the obligations of partners to install third-party applications must be removed from the contract.
Plus, Google on mobile devices sold in Russia will not necessarily be set as the default search service.
"Users will be informed about the deactivation of pre-installed Google applications, changing the search engine in Google Chrome browser, the possibility of installing a different search widget and installing other applications similar to those included in the GMS package, as well as changing the location of icons on the device screen in the form of a notification that should be displayed on the screen of the mobile device, "- said in a statement FAS.

It is worth noting that in the near future the regulator will initiate an administrative case against Google. At the same time, an American company can pay a fine from 1% to 15% of the turnover of the market of pre-installed app stores in the Russian Federation in 2014.
The case against Google
was instituted by the FAS after a corresponding complaint from Yandex.
