writes Reuters. So, corporations will no longer sue each other for court, challenging the right to use various technologies, as regards wireless networks, patents, and mobile devices. Unfortunately, the financial details of the agreement the company did not disclose.
At the time of the dispute, the companies conducted 18 different cases against each other in the courts of the USA and Germany. It is also interesting that the contract between the companies applies not only to Google, but also to Motorola Mobility - Google sold this company to the Lenovo Group last year.
"Google and Microsoft are working together on various patent issues, and also plan to work together in other areas in the future," the companies said in a joint statement. One of the points of contact between companies may be the issue of creating a single patent court for the EU, as well as technology that allows streaming video streaming.
