Bank Otkrytie announced its intention to acquire the online service of banking services Roketbank. The volume of the transaction amounted to 300 million rubles ($ 4.5 million). The deal became known from a source close to KhMB Otkritie, as well as from sources close to Rocketbank and Interkommerts Bank, the service is running during processing, writes RBC. Earlier, the Eastern Express and Tinkoff banks of Oleg Tinkov also negotiated the purchase of the service.

According to him, Tinkov was offered to buy Roketbank, but the head of Tinkoff Bank considered that this purchase was “not at all complementary” for him. The fact is that Tinkoff Bank has services that are similar to Rocketbank services. "Therefore, buying a second such product with such a team, part of which will inevitably go away, did not make any sense," he specified.

Back in early September, Tinkov wrote on his Facebook that he offered $ 1 million for Rocketbank, but since September 15, he has reduced his offer to 1 ruble. At the same time, the condition for the purchase was more than the original one - the head of Tinkoff Bank promised to pay $ 1 million in case his message on the social network about this offer reached 2,000 likes . Then the leadership of Roketbank reported that the Tinkoff proposal was not serious.
