Today it became known that Roskomnadzor plans to spend 100 million rubles to develop a control system for providers. The Office with the help of this system plans to monitor the fulfillment of requirements for blocking websites by providers, TASS reports. A contractor will be chosen to create such a system, for which they will hold a tender on September 29.
“Four companies are participating in the competition. Requirements, despite the fact that they are simple, quite tough. Wins the one who offers the lowest price and the best solution. The initial contract price is 100 million rubles, ”said the head of Roskomnadzor, Alexander Zharov.
The system has already received its own name "Auditor", and it will be able to ensure control of the effectiveness of blocking prohibited sites in real time.

“The essence of a probe or program is that, as a regular user, but faster than a simple user, it sends a large number of requests across the entire list of prohibited resources and, by the number of answers, can inform the inspector of Roskomnadzor whether the site is blocked,” said Zharov.
In the first phase of this project, it is planned to install 700 different probes. Now in the registry of sites banned in the Russian Federation there are already about 12 thousand resources.
