The British will buy a manufacturer of chips for Arduino

The company Dialog Semiconductor plans to acquire the manufacturer of Atmel microchips, which are used for installation in the Arduino. The corresponding press release was published on the web. According to this document, the total amount of the transaction is $ 4.6 billion.

Atmel shareholders receive $ 4.65 per share in the transaction, plus 0.112 Dialog shares. Note that at the close of the last NASDAQ auction, Atmel shares were valued at $ 7.27 per unit, plus Dialog shares in Frankfurt are estimated at 45.33 euros per unit.

The transaction will be closed in the first quarter of 2016.
