
Alexander Fedotov, owner of Artcom Media, has acquired 100% of the Russian publisher of Forbes. According to Fedotov, the new assets will significantly strengthen the position of his publishing house in the business field, Vedomosti reports. At the moment, Fedotov owns the publishing house Artcom Media.
Axel Springer Russia CEO, Regina von Flemming, announced its intention to buy out 20% of the company in the near future. Negotiations on the relevant transaction have already reached the final stage. In this case, from January 1, 2016, von Fleming will leave the post of general director of the company, and will become an advisor to the general director.
The Axel Springer SE unit itself appeared in 2004. This company now owns the trademarks of such famous magazines as Forbes, OK !, GEO and “Gala Biography”, as well as the Internet portals Forbes.ru and finanz.ru.
