Ziyavudin Magomedov, the head of the board of directors of
the Summa group, created the venture capital company Caspian VC Partners (CVC). This is a personal project of Magomedov, emphasizes the representative of the company. William Shore, who previously headed the Summa Venture Capital Office, became Managing Director of CVC.
“The average size of our investment in projects will be in the range of $ 1–5 million,” said CVC. At the initial stage, the total CVC amount will be $ 150 million. However, in the future, the founders plan to increase it to $ 300 million.

In 2013, with the assistance of Mr. Magomedov and his charitable foundation
“Peri” , the business incubator “Peri Innovations” was opened. Now it is managed by the Summa group. Summa owns assets in port logistics, engineering, construction, agriculture, telecommunications and the oil and gas sectors.
In 2015, Forbes estimated Magomedov’s fortune at $ 800 million, putting him at 116th place in the ranking of Russia's richest businessmen.
