1. The search technologies of Rambler are not going to disappear. They will continue to actively develop, but already taking into account the adjustments caused by recent events.
2. The search from Rambler is working, at least for the time being.
3. Judging by the mood of the staff, no one is going to change Rambler to anything else. However, any changes well show the true motives of each. Therefore, I have no doubt that this turning point will not only strengthen the team, but also complement it with new personnel.
In general, my view of the events is more than positive. As a result of the transaction:
1. Rambler gets additional opportunities for investment in development.
2. Rambler concentrates internal resources on development projects.
3. The profitability increases due to the increase in sales and reduction of the cost part, which also means an increase in investment opportunities.
4. Yandex “hegemony” is “corrected”.
