Xiaomi launched officially adapted MI4 smartphones in Russia through
JD.com . Xiaomi has contracted a retailer for one year and is negotiating with offline retailers.
Vedomosti writes that the manufacturer has not yet reached an agreement with retailers, as it offers them a “very modest” reward. All the interlocutors of the publication believe that by the end of 2015, Xiaomi will appear in retail offline sales in Russia.
In China and India, Xiaomi used online channels. In September 2014, for 4.2 seconds in India, the company sold forty thousand devices as part of a promotion to reduce the price of a budget smartphone Siaomi Redmi 1S.

The story of Xiaomi began in 2011, but the company is already the fourth largest smartphone maker in the world. DST Fund Yuri Milnera is one of the co-owners of the giant, the fund bought shares in 2012-2014.
In January 2015, Xiaomi was estimated at 45 billion dollars, it was the third in the ranking of the largest manufacturers of smartphones. According to IDC, in the second quarter of 2015, Samsung is in the top three. Apple and Huawei, Xiaomi will take the fourth place from 5.6% of the market, and Lenovo - the fifth place from 4.7%. In Russia, according to Svyaznoy, TOP-4 manufacturers - Samsung, Lenovo, Nokia / Microsoft and Fly, they share 46% of the market in the country.
