Google may return to China before the end of 2015

Now Google is negotiating with the Chinese government about the possibility of returning to the Chinese market. Negotiations are quite productive, so the return of Google to China may occur before the end of 2015, writes "RBC". Basically, we are talking about launching in China a version of the Google Play application store adapted to the conditions of this country.

Now the corporation is working on a special version of Google Play, where all applications and services are approved by the Chinese government. Previously, Google did not agree to the conditions put forward by the Chinese government - but now the position of the corporation on this issue has changed. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the leadership has changed. The fact is that Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, criticized the actions of the Chinese government, and this confrontation led to the blocking of both the Google search service and all other corporate resources.

China also urged the corporation to adhere to the restrictions imposed by the government. So, Google was asked to stop bypassing state censorship by redirecting Chinese users to Hong Kong servers, where search results were not practiced.

Interestingly, in August of this year, the site of Alphabet company was blocked in China, and the blockage was introduced just a few hours after the start of the site operation.

The company is currently headed by Sundar Pichai, and perhaps he decided to return Google to China.
