The three largest domestic telecommunications companies - MTS, MegaFon and VimpelCom launched the Mobile Ticket service. This service allows you to pay for travel in Moscow public transport using a smartphone, writes "RBC". In addition, the project partner is technology company LLC Breeze Technologies.

To work with a new service, a subscriber of any of the companies listed above must have a gadget with an NFC chip. Plus, there should be a special SIM card that is compatible with NFC and supports the chip with the technology of a single map "Troika".

If you pay the fare using the phone, the amount will be charged to the user at a “Troika” price. The replenishment of the Mobile Ticket account is made from the e-wallet account, from the mobile account or from a linked bank card. Even if the phone battery is completely discharged, the passenger will be able to complete one transaction.

Now with the service "Mobile ticket" is compatible with about 60 models of devices that are currently sold in Russia. Last year, MegaFon salons sold about 18% of models with NFC, of ​​the total smartphone sales in Russia. In addition, the number of devices sold with NFC support over the past year has doubled.

In the future, such a system will be used to conduct small transactions, including payment for renting bicycles, shopping in stores, etc.
