Rating of cloud-based providers of Russia in terms of readiness for interaction with foreign customers



On September 1, 2015, amendments to the Federal Law “On the protection of personal data” 242- came into force, according to which PDNs of Russians should be stored in the territory of the Russian Federation. Foreign companies processing and storing information about Russian citizens have begun to face various issues related to the transfer of data to Russian data centers. The magazine "In Oblake.RF" monitored and found out which of the domestic cloud-providers is ready to provide the full range of communication with employees of foreign companies in the process of transfer and subsequent maintenance of cloud infrastructure.



The first step in choosing a cloud infrastructure on the territory of the Russian Federation for a foreign client is to search for a cloud service provider who is ready to freely implement the communication process in foreign (primarily English) languages. Foreign customers are looking for an opportunity to get comprehensive information about the services provided on the cloud provider's website, as well as to freely interact by telephone and e-mail with commercial and technical services.



The result of monitoring the readiness of domestic cloud providers to interact with foreign customers, conducted by the magazine In Oblake.RF, has ranked the list of 20 companies, in which companies with a multilingual version of the site and personal account, providing the ability to communicate by phone and email, took leading positions with sales service and technical support, having experience working with foreign customers and the ability to accept payment not only in rubles, but also in foreign currency.
