Crowdfunding for "Aquarium". Boris Grebenshchikov collected 3 million rubles. in just two days

Now crowdfunding has become a reliable financing tool for many entrepreneurs and individuals. Games, gadgets, movies, music - all this can be collected using special platforms such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo. The other day, the leader of the Aquarium group, Boris Grebenshchikov, decided to use this tool, writes RBC. Moreover, in just a couple of days, the musician managed to collect over 3 million rubles on the recording of a new album.

“This is an absolute record of the daily collection in Russian crowdfunding. For two days, no one else 3 million in Russia through crowdfunding collected! ”- commented on the campaign, the general director of Planeta.ru Fyodor Murachkovsky.

When launching the fundraising campaign for the new album, Grebenshchikov appealed to fans of his work: “When we started to make the first professional recordings, the sale of records paid for the cost of recording and still remained for champagne. Now sound recording does not bring money anymore. All of our music in this century was recorded only thanks to the disinterested help of friends. (...) To record and release new songs, we decided to hold a “people's fundraiser” for the first time.

Grebenshchikov launched a fundraising campaign for his album on September 1. It was planned to raise funds in 110 days, but it was possible to do this much earlier. The amount requested by the musicians was 3 million rubles. But managed to collect 3.38 million.
