According to Gartner, the market growth in monetary terms was 7.2%, according to IDC - 6.1%. Gartner specialists considered that from April to June, 2.7 million servers worth $ 13.6 billion were delivered to the world market. IDC data says about the amount of 13.5 billion and 2.3 million servers.

IBM dropped out of the top five manufacturers based on the volume of deliveries after it sold a server division to Lenovo. Ten years ago, in 2005, IBM sold Lenovo a division of personal computers. Lenovo in the server market grew by 526.5% in the second quarter of 2015, increasing shipments by 185.7% compared with year to year. Lenovo on the supply of servers to the world market in units took the third position in the ranking.

Cisco in terms of money grew by 19.1%. The growth of HP and Dell - 7.6% and 7.1%, respectively, IBM lost 34.3%. HP takes 25% of the market.
