Facebook sues German Facebook clone

According to the Financial Times , and after him, and TechCrunch , Facebook sued the German social network StudiVZ , which, according to the prosecutor, illegally copies the interface, features and services of Facebook.

Actually, nobody doubts the copying - the social network looks exactly like the original, only repainted red.

StudiVZ has about 10 million active users and is the largest German-speaking social network, whose users are mainly from Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

Earlier this year, StudiVZ was acquired by the German media group Georg von Holtzbrinc for a sum of about $ 100M.

Looks like Facebook has seriously taken up the international market. Our Vkontakte, which, unlike StudiVZ, did not even change the color of the interface, is worth considering.
