Call for applications for open competition of IT projects Web & Tech Ready 2015 continues
In 2015, the largest Web Ready IT projects competition in Russia, which has been held since 2009, expanded the list of areas of competition projects, covering almost the entire IT field and related areas. In connection with the expansion of the competition received a new name - Web & Tech Ready.
So, from this year, companies and entrepreneurs engaged in software development and development, creating embedded and wearable devices, projects in the field of robotics, the Internet of things, IT security, the team are invited to participate in the competition along with Internet projects and solutions for mobile devices. , creating new interfaces for working with computers using gestures, voice and vision, and others.
Accepting applications for the contest will run until September 18, 2015

This year, awards will be awarded in 3 main categories: Seed - for projects at the start-up stage, Startup - for projects that are already monetized, and Spinoff - for subsidiary projects of large companies.
The Skolkovo Foundation immediately announced 4 industry nominations:
• Mobile technologies: applications and platforms for mobile devices, virtual and augmented reality technology, personal mobile devices (wearable electronics) and new human-computer interaction interfaces.
• Industry 4.0: Internet of things, intelligent robotics, industrial software.
• IT security: secure information technology.
• Technologies for game development: technologies and tools for creating games.
The winners in each of the nominations will receive cash grants of 5, 4 and 3 million rubles for the first 3 places, respectively. Thus, the total prize fund of nominations from Skolkovo will amount to 48 million rubles.
Another 5 nominations represent partners Web & Tech Ready:
• A special nomination from EMC for projects that relate to the field of cloud technology, analytics, management, processing and storage of big data, as well as the Internet of things.
• Special Intel nomination for projects aimed at the global market and using advanced technological solutions and approaches.
• A special nomination from Google for projects that solve the universal problem of users, that is, not tied to a specific geographic location and infrastructure, and are oriented to the world market.
• Special nomination from the IIDF for Internet projects; the winner of the nomination will go to a strategic session, during which it will receive advice from top experts of the IIDF.
• Special nomination of the Untitled retail lab for seed stage projects related to Retail Performance and aimed at improving the efficiency of retail by one or several key indicators: average check, customer return, conversion, traffic, revenue.
