Unjustly dismissed employee brought St. Petersburg "factory trolls" to clean water

An ex-employee of the Internet Troll Factory of Internet Research LLC Lyudmila Savchuk yesterday won the case against her former employers in the Petrograd District Court of St. Petersburg. According to the lawsuit, she got there on January 2, 2015, on an ad on the Internet. The ad offered to write comments and posts on the Internet on a given topic. The salary for this job was 40-50 thousand rubles a month, but the applicant received it only in January, and in March she was fired for allegedly disclosing information and did not issue a calculation.

During the process, the company formalized a contract with the former employee and paid her wage arrears. The main victory of the plaintiffs is considered the company's official file, publicity of its activities and recognition of moral damage to Mrs. Savchuk. In compensation for moral damage, the victim demanded a token amount - 1 ruble, Kommersant reports

The representative of the applicant, Darya Sukhikh, explained why Savchuk's non-property rights were violated: “Lyudmila Savchuk experienced moral suffering because of the need to write texts that contradicted her inner convictions.” But she put up with this in order to “achieve a social result” - it was necessary to collect information about the activities of the troll factory. “We brought the situation to the public legal field and received the company's file, but the respondents refused to provide a number of documents contrary to the law. Now we will challenge this refusal and seek public disclosure of the company's staffing table and tax payments from employees' salaries, ”Ms. Sukhikh said.
