Google Code Jam is a programming competition in which both professional programmers and students have to solve quite complex algorithmic problems while meeting within a limited time frame. Everyone can use their favorite programming language and OS.
Google Code Jam starts in July and ends in August and consists of 3 online rounds. Top 500 participants will go to the next stage - the competition in the local office of Google. The finals, which will be held at the main office of Google in Mountain View on November 14, will be the top 100 winners of local rounds.
Detailed rules of the competition have probably already been read by those who solved the qualifying round puzzles yesterday.
The qualifying round lasted 24 hours (from 03:00 on July 16 until 03:00 on July 17, UTC + 4). It was possible to log in at 3 nights to see the tasks, then solve the whole day and send their solutions at night. The
rules set out everything in detail.
