NGO Angstrem will be responsible for the development of a national OS

The microelectronics manufacturer Angostrem, owned by ex-Minister of Communications Leonid Reiman, will be responsible for developing the national operating system. The fact is that this company gains control over the Scientific and Technical Center IT Rosa, a developer who has previously worked on a domestic operating system, Vedomosti writes . Now the deal on the transition of "Dew" in the structure of the NGO "Angstrom" is in its final stage. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Last Friday, SEC IT Rosa released a new version of the client operating system with open source. During the completion of the transaction part of the team "Dew" will be dismissed. There may be changes in the leadership, according to a source close to this company.

Currently, 99% of the authorized capital of the SEC IT "ROSA" is controlled by Tagiyev, 1% is owned by LLC "Technoinvest" Leonid Reiman. At the same time, Reiman owns 99.95% of the Angstrom group (the second most important Russian manufacturer of microchips after Micron).

About a month ago, the SEC IT Rosa and Alt Linux jointly won the competition of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media on the creation of a national operating system. For the development of this platform, the company requested about 2.5 billion rubles. for five and a half years. Developed domestic OS will be the joint efforts of both companies. At the same time, an autonomous non-profit organization (ANO), which will distribute grants to the Ministry of Communications for the development of domestic software, has not yet been formed. The Ministry of Economic Development has found some problem areas in the financing scheme proposed by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media.

The total amount requested by the Ministry of Communications for the development of various types of domestic software in five areas amounted to 18 billion rubles.
