About parties and sandboxes

For four days now I have been a startup. I immediately was prompted here about the need to "spin in the appropriate parties." For now, just wandering through resources, studying, so to speak, the landscape ... Do you want to say what impression the start-up community makes to the absolute savage?

Sandbox! In all seriousness, rather adult men play kulichiki! All so smart, serious and concerned! 80% of projects now populating accelerators were previously done half a year on the knee by two student nerds. Called just sites. With trembling hands they were sent to some Tyoma Lebedev for a spanking. Used mainly to fill in an empty resume at the exit to work.

Oh yeah! Easy to say without doing anything. And yes, I envy! And yet the question arises for producers and just smart people. All this mythology and lather is what, to increase and retain the herd? Or is it harder?

Well, actually, let's return to the main question: is it necessary to spin in start-up parties (for example, accelerators and specialized coworkings) to speed up the creation and promotion of a product?

I figured the pros and cons:

Pluses of parties:
- fresh information;
- rest from stupid work;
-the ability to catch the right idea in the process of chatter;
-the ability to meet useful people.

parties cons
- loss of time;
- revaluation of their place in history;
- misconception about Central Asia;
- wrong prioritization.

While at me approximately it turns out. Where is wrong?
