For six months, Huawei's revenue grew by 30%

The revenue of the Chinese company Huawei over the past 6 months increased by 30%, reaching $ 28 billion. This result was a record for the company, according to Vedomosti. With regard to such an indicator as operating margin, this year it has not changed much, reaching 18.1% (18.3% last year). Financial Director Katy Man reports that the growth was in all three main areas of the company's business. At the same time, Maine did not report that it is the main catalyst for such growth.

As for last year, in 2014, the fastest growing business of Huawei was the production of mobile devices, mainly smartphones. In this area, sales growth reached 32%. This week, the company may publish more detailed information on smartphone sales this year. From the message sent by Huawei to its employees, it follows that since May, sales of smartphones exceeded 10 million per month. According to the plan, the sales of smartphones by the end of this year should reach the figure of 100 million units.

Last year, Huawei planned to sell about 80 million smartphones, but was unable to fulfill the plan, selling 75 million pieces of such devices. Interestingly, most of the company's competitors, including Xiaomi, have some difficulty in fulfilling their plans for selling smartphones.

The most profitable business of Huawei is the sale of infrastructure equipment to companies from different countries. One of the most successful areas of work for the company this year is the sector of software-configured networks and cloud systems for communication networks.
