Yahoo! is developing a new messenger. The company released its test version and posted it on the Hong Kong iTunes App Store called Yahoo Livetext - Video Messenger.
The application combines the functionality of traditional instant messengers and innovations related to video. Along with a text message, you can transmit non-verbal information via video. True, according to the developers, the sound will not be there. The transmitted video may reflect, for example, the response to the replica of the interlocutor. Thus, the new messenger allows you to observe the reaction of the participants in the conversation in real time.
