One third of revenue from sales and support of enterprise management systems remains in Russia
According to analysts from IDC, the domestic market for ERP-systems in dollar terms as of 2014 decreased to $ 921.27 million, that is, by 14.2%. SAP is the largest supplier of such systems, while domestic manufacturers, including 1C, Galaktika, Monolith and Parus, have significantly strengthened their own market positions, Vedomosti reports. The total share of Russian manufacturers is 34%.
As for SAP, this system last year earned EUR 371.1 million in Russia, which is $ 493.8 million. This amount includes both sales and software maintenance fees. Note that SAP revenue in the Russian Federation in dollar terms fell by 16.5%.
A representative of 1C Alexey Kharitonov claims that the share of this company in the market last year was 30.9%. Based on one workplace, a 1C license costs approximately $ 150. The SAP license is already $ 2000. 1C estimates the total share in ERP workstations at about 83%.

And IDC senior analyst Sergey Yakovlev is confident that for Russian producers, the current import substitution policy is a unique opportunity to strengthen their own positions in the segment of large business and various individual industries. However, in order to take advantage of this opportunity, domestic manufacturers need to make significant efforts to improve compatibility, scalability and performance solutions.
In the future, cloud ERP-systems will become even more popular than they are now, especially with regard to the small and medium-sized business segment: accounting, financial reporting, management of client databases.
