Facebook started to test the virtual personal assistant. It will be integrated into the social network messenger. Assistant will search for users of various products. If necessary, an assistant can buy a product that they like. The test version of the application was called Moneypenny. That is the name of the James Bond character spy novels Miss Manipenny, secretary M.
The detailed scheme of the Moneypenny is not disclosed.
The application is an aggregator of suppliers and sellers. Therefore, the user will be able to find and order the desired product without leaving the application. Delivery is likely to be handled by a dedicated Facebook courier staff. Delivery fee will be included in the cost of Facebook messenger.

Moneypenny has all chances to become one of the first large-scale ways to monetize the messenger. Whether the assistant himself will be paid is still unknown.
