New buildings will be accepted only with a cable for internet connection held in each apartment.

The Institute for Internet Development proposes to introduce in building codes and regulations (SNiPs) a requirement for new buildings, according to which the house cannot be put into operation without fiber optic cables to connect each apartment to the network, according to Izvestia .

The head of the Iranian board, German Klimenko, talks about the problem of entry of operators into residential houses: HOAs are often denied to the operator for formal reasons. Iran plans to solve this problem by avoiding a large number of wires in each house. The cables will go to each apartment, and in the attic connect to the switch that allows you to connect the residents to the correct provider.

HOA and management companies charge a high fee for the installation and operation of the provider’s equipment. According to the legislation, to connect one subscriber, the operator must receive two thirds of the votes of the owners of residential premises, but in practice it is almost impossible to do this, MTS representative Dmitry Solodovnikov notes. The representative of VimpelCom, Anna Aybasheva, noted that this procedure takes up to six months.

The solution to the problem may be changes in legislation and the creation of local networks in new buildings. MegaFon sees it expedient to provide in the new buildings server rooms, cable channels and access to the power grid.
