FRIA plans to launch a training course on how to conduct Internet business in more than 100 Russian universities
The Internet Initiatives Development Foundation ( IIDF ) has developed a special training course on launching and managing Internet projects. This course will be launched in September of this year in 22 universities of our country.
Among them are universities such as Moscow State University. Lomonosov Moscow State Technical University. Bauman, HSE , ITMO University , Ural Federal University , Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and other educational institutions of Russia. The FRIA will also be supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
By September 2016, the training course should be launched in more than a hundred Russian universities. The goal of the course is to provide students with an idea of how projects in the field of Internet business are created and developed. The curriculum is designed for senior students.

University teachers will undergo special training and online consultations with the authors of the course before they start reading it to students. Universities will be equipped with all the necessary teaching materials. In addition to regular lectures and seminars, within the training course, they will hold a series of video lectures with expert practitioners. They will cover topics such as finding a business model for your project, analyzing and evaluating the market, presenting a project, looking for investments, bringing a product to the market and promoting it.
For each topic there are a number of practical tasks. Students will work on their own study projects in groups. And teachers will act as business trainers. Upon completion of the course, students will demonstrate the first results and will defend Internet projects to teachers and experts, reports the Firrma publication with reference to the message of the IIDF.
Margarita Zobnina, Ph.D. (Econ.), Associate professor at HSE, will supervise the introduction of the Internet entrepreneurship course. “The IIDF course is based on the development methodology of startups from world gurus - Steve Blanc and Alexander Ostervalder, modified taking into account the large-scale experience of the foundation,” she said.
