Intel Corporation announced that in January 2016, Renee James, president of the company, is leaving his post. René James became president of Intel in 2013, and in the same year Krzhanich became the CEO of the corporation, mixing Paul Otellini.

After the departure of the current president of the company in Intel, there will be other personnel changes. Thus, the current president of the investment fund Intel Capital Arvind Sodhani also leaves his post, after 35 years of work. He will hand over the affairs to the president of the M & A department, Vandell Brooks.

Since July 1, the corporation also included the previously independent division of Intel Security (previously part of McAfee). Intel Aisha Evans, head of the Communication and Devices Group at Intel, is now on the company's board.
