ABB International Concern will invest 50 million rubles in the construction of Russia's first robotics center

In the construction of the Center for Robotics in Technopolis "Moscow" is investing 50 million rubles international concern ABB . They will place an engineering center for robotics, a training center, a hall for the demonstration of new equipment, as well as platforms for conferences. It is planned to begin construction this fall. The center is needed to train specialists in the field of industrial robotization and automation.

ABB won the auction for the rental of one and a half thousand square meters in the production building of Technopolis. The indicated rental period is ten years.

“ABB has already installed more than 250,000 robots around the world in various industries, and we hope that the opening of the robotics center in Moscow will contribute to the active development of Russian enterprises,” Anatoly Popov, president of ABB in Russia, Belarus and Central Asia, told Vedomosti .

ABB concern develops power equipment and technologies for electric power industry, transport, infrastructure and production automation. He produces and sells his products in one hundred countries of the world. ABB consists of about 145 thousand people. Shares of the company are traded on the stock exchanges in Zurich, Stockholm and New York. Two of the five Russian production sites of the concern are located in Moscow.

Technopolis "Moscow" will be the first platform in Russia to present the products of all ABB divisions: automation systems, systems for the power industry, as well as low-voltage equipment.
