Svyaznoy specialists estimate the share of Oysters at 20% in units and at 7% in monetary terms. Last year, this figure did not exceed 2%. And only by the IV quarter rose to 8-9%.
For the first time, a domestic manufacturer has become the leader in sales in the Russian market. Samsung kept the lead in terms of revenue, but for the first time in several years, lost the lead in the number of sold tablets. In MTS stores, the share of Oysters tablet sales reached 43.8% in the first quarter, MTS representative Dmitry Solodovnikov said.

During this time, about 300 thousand Oysters tablets were sold, the head of the company's marketing department, Mikhail Turkov, estimated. Sales growth was provided by a diversified network of sales of devices, increased interest in budget tablets caused by the crisis, as well as marketing campaigns of partners. The average price of Oysters tablets is 4–5 thousand rubles.

M.video . For any purchase of more than 9990 rubles, the chain of stores offered the Oysters tablet as a gift. So it was presented about 170 thousand of these devices. During the campaign (February 2015), the market share of Oysters tablets reached 34%.

, Aleksey Shirokov, believes that donated devices do not reflect the real demand for goods. And perceive them as sold is unacceptable.
