Google launched News Lab - a service for journalists

Google has announced the launch of a service designed specifically for journalists, both beginners and professional. At the News Lab site you can find all the functionality of Google search tools, in an expanded form, allowing the journalist to share information, improve and expand the capabilities of the media.

The creators of the service believe that it will become the unified platform for the work of individual reporters within the framework of uniform editions. News Lab will also soon be integrated into Google projects for the development of citizen journalism.

First of all, the service is designed specifically for working with search queries and results of issuance in graphical and textual form. Now News Lab works only with English, plans for localization of the product have not been announced.
