Rule number 1: Create a "card"

We went ahead and made two more card formats - an “amusing” card that plays along with an idiom in a playful manner, and an “inspirational” quote card that uses an idiom.





Thus, we also added some entertaining content to the useful content. We consider the entertainment element in the educational process to be very important - firstly, it makes learning boring (and thus more effective), and secondly, our “entertaining” cards help us remember idioms better.

For cards, we use photos from photo stocks. Now it is easy to find free photo stocks, or use paid ones if you need higher quality.

Rule number 2: Post every day

This is optional, but very desirable if you want to recruit new followers and keep the attention of existing ones. One “useful” card + one “visual” card - such a combination is enough for one day. Place one card in the morning and the second in the evening.

Rule number 3: Use more hashtags

We created accounts in seven social networks ( Facebook , Twitter , Google+ , Instagram , Tumblr , Pinterest , VK ), and it turned out that Instagram is the only social network in which the use of a large number of hashtags really works. Here is a set of hashtags that we use (taking into account the specifics - learning English):
