Claims of the publishing house "Eksmo", who accused the electronic library of "Flibusta" of violating the rights to some works, were satisfied by the Moscow City Court. The court decided to take preliminary interim measures in relation to the library, Vedomosti reports. Note that the claims of the publishing house relate to the works of American science fiction writer Ray Bradbury: "451 degrees Fahrenheit", "Wine from dandelions", "Martian Chronicles" and "Golden apples of the Sun". The Moscow City Court ordered Roskomnadzor to block access to the pages of the library on which these works were posted, and the court did not indicate the addresses of the pages.

Representatives of the electronic library have already managed to give their comments about what is happening. “From the point of view of the library, this is the highest recognition of merit,” the Flibusta press service said. It should be noted that “Flibusta” is one of the most famous non-commercial electronic libraries in the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet. The resource receives funding through voluntary donations, the creators also fund the library.

Established "Flibusta" in 2009.

Note that the co-defendants in the Flibusta case are also the registrar of the eNomInc website (USA) and the hosting provider Root SA. A little earlier, the publisher presented a claim to the popular torrent tracker Rutracker.org.

Preliminary interim measures are blocking of the entire resource, accused of piracy, or its individual pages. These measures are applied prior to filing a claim to the owners of the site on the merits, which must be done within 15 days of the decision of the interim measures by the Moscow City Court.
