
Publisher Burda closes the Russian magazine Computer Bild,
write "Vedomosti" with reference to the press service of the publishing house. The decision to close the magazine in Russia was made by agreement with the licensor Axel Springer in connection with the fall in demand. The last issue will be released on June 19
with a circulation of 54 thousand copies.
Computer Bild magazine is published in several countries of the world, the first number was published in Germany in 1996. Computer Bild has been published in Russia since 1996 every two weeks. Since 2001, the magazine has been selling discs with software, e-books and movies.
According to the Association of Switching Agencies of Russia, the advertising market in the first quarter of 2015
fell by 17% compared with the same period in 2014. Revenues of publishers of newspapers and magazines fell by a third. Growth was kept only by advertising on the Internet due to increased spending on contextual advertising.
