The number of teleworkers is growing due to the spread of broadband access to the network, cloud services and video conferencing. Each remote employee will bring the economy of the company 170 thousand rubles annually, and the cumulative economic effect from teleworking in Russia is 68 billion rubles a year. Of these, 22 billion rubles - saving time on the way to the office, 5 billion - access to the workplace during sick leave and 38 billion - saving on office space. Another 3 billion accounted for the reduction of salaries by hiring employees from the regions.

To the constraints for the spread of remote employment is the reluctance of the employer to build work with remote employees, lack of control over the employee outside the office and fear for corporate information.
