A couple of months ago, respected TM launched a startup support program on Megamind.
We are pleased to decide to take part in it and submitted an application. A little later, we received a long-awaited email that our application was accepted. Were delighted and engaged in the preparation of the first post. As soon as he was ready, questions arose: “On which day is it most useful to publish it?”, “On which day, the most views / comments?”
For answers and small bonus, we ask under the cat:
We are not looking for easy ways, so we scanned the last 50 pages of Magamozg and, having built a couple of graphs, answered this question.
A few words about the technique:
- In order not to reinvent the wheel, we decided to use the Silf script, from a study 3 years ago.
- The script was dopilen with an amendment to today's realities (the structure of comments has changed and companies' blogs have been added).
- The last 50 pages of Megamind were scanned, which roughly corresponds to the last 2 months.
- Since we came to Megamind for feedback from users, instead of analyzing positive ratings for each post, we looked at the number of comments.
- To see the whole picture, the values obtained were normalized from 0 to 1.
- This mini-study does not claim to be 100% accurate, but only shows an approximate picture.
And here is the resulting chart:
')

Possible conclusions:
- The entries posted on Tuesday and Thursday are the most commented.
- On Sunday, there is minimal activity.
- Most posts are published on Friday, respectively, and the total number of views on this day is also the maximum.
- Wednesday - calm on all flank.
The schedule turned out ambiguous. We hope this article will help our colleagues.
Promised bonus. Habr's schedule (last 100 pages) In light of the above, our "first" article can be expected on Thursday. See you again!
